Terms of Service
Last updated: September 22, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Weddooit. We've kept them as short and clear as the law allows.
1. About these terms
These terms govern the use of Weddooit, a service provided by Weddooit (hello@weddooit.com). By creating an account or buying a plan, you accept them. If you're a guest, only the sections on guests, gifts and acceptable use apply to you.
2. The service
Weddooit lets couples create a wedding website at <name>.weddooit.com, invite guests, collect replies, plan tables and receive gifts. We keep improving it, so features may change, but we won't take away something you've paid for in a way that harms you.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and use an email address you control.
- We sign you in with links sent to your email, so keep access to that inbox safe.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account and on your site.
4. Plans and payment
- Plans are a one-time payment per wedding, with no subscription and no automatic renewal.
- Prices are the ones shown on weddooit.com when you buy, and include VAT.
- You pay by card through Stripe, and we email you an invoice.
- While we're launching, some or all features may be available to every couple. The plan you buy guarantees you its features.
5. Your right to withdraw
If you're a consumer, you can withdraw from a plan purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. We'll refund the full amount within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method, at no cost to you.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement to hello@weddooit.com. You can use this model form, but you don't have to:
"To Weddooit, hello@weddooit.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: [plan], bought on [date]. Name: [your name]. Email used to buy: [email]. Date: [today's date]."
6. Gifts from guests
- Couples who turn on card gifts connect their own Stripe account and accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement (https://stripe.com/connect-account/legal). Gifts are paid directly into that account.
- Weddooit keeps a platform fee of 2.5% of each gift. Stripe's processing fees are deducted from the couple's payout. Guests pay exactly the amount they choose.
- A gift is a voluntary payment from a guest to the couple. Weddooit isn't a party to it and never holds the money. Refunds of gifts are between the guest and the couple, who can issue them from their Stripe dashboard.
- Gift-list items that link to shops are sold by those shops under their own terms. As an Amazon Associate, Weddooit earns from qualifying purchases made through links to Amazon.
7. Your content
Everything you upload stays yours. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, adapt (for example, resize photos) and display it, only to run your site and only for as long as it's online. You're responsible for having the right to publish it, and for having your guests' agreement before publishing photos of them or information about them.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Weddooit to:
- publish illegal, hateful, harassing or violent content, or anything that sexualises minors;
- infringe other people's rights, including copyright and privacy;
- send spam, or collect other people's data for purposes unrelated to the wedding;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
- make fraudulent payments, or use gifts to move money for anything other than the wedding.
9. If rules are broken
We can remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms. We'll tell you why, unless the law stops us, and you can reply to explain or ask us to review the decision.
10. Guests
Guests can use a couple's site and their personal invitation without an account. Please only share what you're happy for the couple to receive.
11. Availability and how long sites stay online
We work to keep Weddooit available at all times but can't promise it will never fail. Wedding sites stay online until 12 months after the wedding date, when the site and its data are deleted. Download anything you want to keep before then.
12. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Spanish and EU law. Beyond those rights, we're not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to a couple is limited to what they paid us in the previous 12 months. This limit doesn't apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Weddooit and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll email couples at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can close your account before then.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. If something goes wrong, write to hello@weddooit.com first; we'd rather solve it together.
